District and Site Dashboards: Access and Configure

The District and Site Dashboards provide a graphical, at-a-glance view of various library and resource data, as well as book recommendations for your library. You can edit the types of data you see at anytime.

Important:

  • To access the District and Site Dashboards, your district needs to enable the New Destiny User Experience. If it is not enabled, you will instead see a Dashboard tab.
  • The following users have access to the District and/or Site Dashboard:

    • District Dashboard: District users with the permission Manage Library Materials for the District (for Library Manager) or Display Resource Dashboard (for Resource Manager).
    • Site Dashboard: Site-level users, or district users with site access, with the access level permission Display Library Dashboard (for Library Manager) or Display Resource Dashboard (for Resource Manager).
  • In Resource Manager, you can only access the resources you have permission to view. For details, see Resource Groups.
  • The Recommendations widget is only available for Follett Destiny Cloud customers.

Dashboard widgets appear in the following categories: Active Highlights, Reporting, and Recommendations.

If you have Resource Manager and Library Manager and have the appropriate permissions, use the tabs to switch between products.

Site Dashboard.

Access the Dashboards

  1. Select Applications menu icon. > District Dashboard or Site Dashboard.

    Note: To access a Site Dashboard as a district user, first navigate to the site.

  2. Click the Library or Resource tab (if applicable).

Configure Dashboard settings

  1. Select Applications menu icon. > District Dashboard or Site Dashboard.
  2. Click the Library or Resource tab (if applicable).
  3. In the top-right corner of the page, click Edit Settings.
  4. Select to show or hide the Active Highlights, Reporting, and Recommendations for your Library widgets on the Dashboard.
    Note: The Recommendations for your Library widget is only accessible from the Site Dashboard.
  5. Click Save Configuration.
